Dr. A.J. Balaze has been a dedicated dental practitioner in the Jackson, Michigan area since 2013, committed to providing exceptional care to his community.
Dr. Balaze has cultivated a profound expertise and passion for Dental Sleep Medicine, an area of dentistry focused on treating sleep-related breathing disorders, most notably Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). His commitment to this field is deeply personal; his oldest son was diagnosed with OSA at an early age, which instilled in Dr. Balaze a firsthand understanding of how the condition impacts patients' lives.
He has completed extensive continuing education including completing the Mastery Course from the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM).
Demonstrating the highest level of proficiency in the discipline, Dr. Balaze successfully completed the comprehensive Board Exam and earned the distinguished title of Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (D.ABDSM). This certification signifies his advanced training and experience in utilizing oral appliance therapy to manage OSA.
Dr. Balaze, his wife Julia, and their five children proudly call Grass Lake, Michigan, home. He enjoys being an active part of the local community both professionally and personally.
