Megan
Hygiene & Sleep Patient Care Coordinator
Megan joined our team in 2012 and brings more than 25 years of dental experience to her role as Patient Care Coordinator. She spent 13 years as a chairside dental assistant in our practice before transitioning into her current position, giving her a deep understanding of both clinical care and the patient experience. She also serves as the primary contact for Jackson Sleep Solutions, guiding patients through the process of oral appliance therapy for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Megan is dedicated to providing exceptional patient experiences while supporting the highest quality of care.
Outside the office, Megan is a proud wife and mother of three sons. She enjoys traveling, reading, bowling, and playing pickleball, and loves spending time with her family.

Clinical Treatment Coordinator
"I started my career in dentistry in 1989, where I attended Jackson Area Career Center and later went on to receive my Certified Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant licenses through Washtenaw Community College. Most of my career has been working as a clinical assistant. In 2014, I took a new position as Clinical Treatment Coordinator. I love that I can still utilize my acquired knowledge and experience to best serve my patients. It is great getting to work with such a dedicated team and helping our patients achieve their BEST smiles.”

“I started my dental career in 2017 at the Jackson Area Career Center. I continued my education at Jackson College and graduated in April 2023 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. After being chairside with Dr. Balaze for 5 years, I am really excited to expand my relationships with our patients as their dental hygienist. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family."

Dental Hygienist
She has been practicing dental hygiene since 2017 and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy smiles, with a special love for providing care in long-term care settings. Her compassion, experience, and gentle approach make her a wonderful addition to our practice.
Outside of the office, she and her husband have been together for 10 years after meeting as college sweethearts. They love spending time outdoors camping, kayaking, and golfing. She is also a proud new mom to her beautiful daughter, Juniper, who truly is the light of her life.
Kourtnee
Dental Hygienist
Kourtnee has been a dental hygienist since 2018 and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy confident smiles. Outside of her dental career, she also does photography, where she has the opportunity to capture meaningful moments and lasting memories for others. She is a wife and mother to two children, they also have two fur baby Great Danes. In her free time she enjoys staying active through fitness, traveling, and attending car shows.

Clinical Assistant
“I started my career at Delaware Tech Community College in Dover, Delaware where I grew up, then moved to Michigan about 25 years ago. I have been a surgical dental assistant for 18 years and have assisted in the endodontic, periodontal, and general dental fields. I love general dentistry for the variety of procedures and working with a fun and knowledgeable team. When I am not in the office, I enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time with my family."
Courtney
Dental Assistant
Courtney started her dental career in 2012 and then joined our team in 2025. Before joining us here she proudly served our country in the Navy and completed two deployments. Outside of the office, Courtney is a devoted mom to her daughter and step daughter. She embraces her role as a fun and adventurous girl mom, always making time for family activities and creating lasting memories. In her free time she enjoys riding motorcycles, playing billiards, and caring for her mini farm.
Ariana
Dental Assistant
Ari graduated from Napoleon High School in 2024 and is currently attending Jackson College, where she is pursuing a career in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Karter, and their two year old chocolate lab, Gus. When she is not studying or working, she enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors.
